"MARCH 9TH, Vol. XLIX #10" Discovery…
Humor makes us smile, but good humor makes us think about how things are or should be. On that note I share this article from The Herald, a newsletter published by Tyrone Christian Church in Tyrone, Georgia (Holly’s parents’ church). I have modified parts from its original form:
The latest news reports are that five terrorist cell groups have been operating in many of our churches. They have been identified as: Bin Sleepin, Bin Arguin, Bin Fightin, Bin Complainin, and Bin Missin. Their leader, Lucifer Bin Workin, trained these groups to destroy the Body of Christ. Their plan is simple—come to church disguised as a Christian and to work within the church to discourage, disrupt, and destroy.
However, there has been a new Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) formed by true Christians and acting as a sixth group. A tiny cell known by the name of Bin Prayin is actually the only effective counter terrorist force currently serving in the church. Unlike the terrorist cells, the Bin Prayin team does not blend in with whoever and whatever comes along. Bin Prayin does whatever is needed to uplift and encourage the Body of Christ. One can tell the difference in this group from the terrorist cells by looking at for certain characteristics. They have Bin Watchin, Bin Waitin, Bin Fastin, and Bin Longin for their Master, Jesus Christ, to return.
NO CHURCH IS EXEMPT FROM THEIR ACTIVITIES! (However, you can spot them if you Bin Lookin and Bin Goin.)
The Apostle Paul writes, in his second letter to Timothy, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (II Timothy 1:7 NLT). So be on your guard. Do not allow terrorists of any kind to steal your peace and joy. God can and will handle them! Pastor Mike
