At the end of this month our Feed the Kids Program will conclude with us giving away more than 100 book bags filled with school supplies. All of our volunteers have told me how much they have been blessed by the program. I have especially enjoyed visiting with the parents and children and see it as a time of invitation. There are some families who come to our program who already have churches that they attend on Sunday, but most do not. If we lead only one person towards an active relationship with Jesus Christ, then we have served our Lord well. It may be that we are simply planting seeds now that will grow later, and we may not see the harvest, yet we were laying stones to help someone in their journey towards Christ. I do know that my prayer is that at least one person be drawn closer to Christ through this program. Christ said, "If you have done for the least of these, you have done for me." We know that these children are not the least, but rather the ones whom Christ called the "Greatest in the Kingdom of God." Pastor Mike
